Its owners—one Colombian and one Mexican—dreamed of creating a place that reflected both of their roots and the life they built together. The result is a unique property where each residence celebrates its own identity: one inspired by the warmth and vibrant colors of Colombia's Caribbean coast, and the other showcasing the architectural charm, craftsmanship, and traditions of Mexico.

Casa Maguey is located in Getsemaní, Cartagena's most authentic, artistic, and vibrant neighborhood. Known for its colorful streets, colonial architecture, murals, live music, and lively atmosphere, it has become one of the city's most beloved destinations.

From the property, guests can easily walk to the Walled City, the Clock Tower, Plaza de la Trinidad, museums, churches, restaurants, cafés, and Cartagena's vibrant nightlife.

The property is also approximately 20 minutes from Rafael Núñez International Airport and just a short drive from the city's beaches and Bocagrande.

Getting around from Casa Maguey is effortless. Thanks to its prime location in Getsemaní, many of Cartagena's most iconic attractions can be reached on foot.

For destinations such as Bocagrande, the beaches, San Felipe Castle, or the airport, taxis and ride-sharing services are available at all times. A taxi ride from the airport typically costs around USD 5–6.
